Great book on marketing to the affluent What I've learned from reading Dan Kennedy's books has been of tremendous value to me in my businesses. This book brings more of the same... timely, hard-hitting, extremely relevant information on identifying and marketing to those segments of the market that have plenty of disposable income. Highly recommended.
Actually some new content Most of Kennedy's books seem to be the same content just rehashed over and over again (trust me, I bought several). However, this one actually has some specific advice for marketing to the affluent and new content.
Unfortunately, the majority of examples in this book are how Kennedy or other motivational speakers/life coaches/consultants marketed to the affluent. So, you'll have to extrapolate the basic principles and apply them to your own industry.
If Can Kennedy is on the Cover, it should be in your Library Dan Kennedy's books are formulaic - they're a formula for you to make more money.
All of the No BS Books are terrific, and this one is no exception.
And it's not just Dan... check to see what others say as Dan pools their thinking into a goldmine of information for you.
Get it. Read it. Put it into practice.
Your banker will thank you.

No BS marketing to the affluent a real eye opener. I'm impressed with how well read Dan Kennedy is. He's blunt and doesn't mince words.
"Must know" information for tough economic times I attended my first Dan Kennedy event this past weekend in St. Louis and was very impressed with the content of the information and his business philosophy. I picked up the book, No B.S. Marketing to the Affluent: The No Holds Barred, Kick Butt, Take No Prisoners Guide to Getting Really Rich for two reasons. One, I wanted to learn more about marketing and selling to the Affluent. Even in tough times the affluent have money and if one wants to thrive in the recession that has already started in the United States you need to position yourself with the affluent. The book provids a wealth of information in this area.
A second reason I wanted to read the book was to learn more about Dan Kennedy's business methods. I was intrigued with what I learned at the seminar. In fact, I am repositioning and redoing my websites and my business model based on the information gleaned from him during that event. I wanted to learn more because I do see his "philosophy" as profit generating.
The book did not disappoint. I finished the book on my flight back home and found myself taking notes in almost every chapter. I found the book well researched and informative. I like Kennedy's style of writing and brash emphasis on presenting reality instead of some politically correct drivel that makes you feel good without adding to your bottom line.
If you are in business or thinking about getting into business you need to read this book. I plan on reading the rest of the No B.S. guides Dan Kennedy has written and then to move on to the audio programs, taking care to implement what I have learned. There is money in these books. One only has to look for it.
